Chamomile floral water

A staple of the aromatherapy and natural products industry, Chamomile floral waters are derived from plants whose virtues have been appreciated for centuries. Chamomile is a plant belonging to the Asteraceae family. The distilled parts are the flowers, which are rich in beneficial aromatic compounds.

Chamomile floral water: anti-inflammatory and soothing

Chamomile floral waters are particularly prized for their soothing properties. They are widely used in the aromatherapy and natural products industry for their relaxing properties. Chamomile hydrosols are often used in products designed to soothe the skin, reduce skin irritation and promote relaxation. Their versatility makes them particularly interesting ingredients for beauty and wellness product formulations.

Roman chamomile or matricaria floral water?

We offer two varieties of organic Chamomile floral water: Roman Chamomile floral water (Chamaemelum nobile) and Chamomile matricaria floral water (Chamomilla recutita). Both floral waters are distilled at low pressure and low temperature at our distillery in Auvergne.
Soothing, astringent and rebalancing, organic Roman Chamomile floral water is so gentle that it can be used to care for children and babies, but is also effective for soothing irritated eyes. It is used in make-up remover formulas and skincare products for sensitive skin.

Organic Chamomile matricaria floral water is mainly known as an anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic skin care product, and is used in many formulas for fragile, irritated and/or dry skin. Revitalizing and lightening, it is an essential ingredient in formulas for blond hair.
