Since its creation in 1988 in Auvergne, the Helpac organic essential oil laboratory has demonstrated its ambition: to cultivate the benefits of plants and share them through a range of natural products. By setting up in the Livradois-Forez Natural Park in Auvergne, the company has naturally positioned itself at the heart of a preserved region with a great diversity of flora, the ideal place to exploit local resources and reveal the therapeutic and aromatic power of plants. Helpac, a pioneer and specialist in aromatherapy and gemmotherapy, today boasts a vast catalog of natural products: essential oils and organic bud macerates for gemmotherapy, as well as aromatic hydrolats and organic floral water, organic vegetable oils, oily macerates and a range of organic cosmetics.
Helpac distributes its essential oils and other organic cosmetics in bulk through the De Saint-Hilaire brand. The laboratory also offers a number of white-label products for professionals wishing to create or expand their range of natural products.
Eager to preserve nature and offer healthy, top-quality products, the Helpac distillery has chosen to offer organic products, certified by Ecocert, bearing the AB mark (French Organic Agriculture) and the European organic logo. Committed to constantly improving its products and sustainable development practices, Helpac applies GMP (Good Manufacturing Process) standards. This commitment has also been rewarded with the “Slow Cosmétique” label for De Saint Hilaire cosmetics, which are guaranteed 100% natural, free from synthetic materials and compounds that are harmful to health or the environment.

The Helpac distillery is an expert in plant selection and processing. To produce quality essential oils, vegetable oils and other natural products, the company has forged partnerships with pickers and farmers selected for their organic certification and the quality of their aromatic and medicinal plants. The Helpac distillery processes the raw materials at its three distillation sites in France to the highest standards. Organic essential oils and hydrolats are obtained using a slow, low-temperature distillation process; buds are macerated for 21 days in a skilful blend of water, alcohol and organic glycerine to extract all the benefits of the plants; organic vegetable oils are extracted by first cold pressing… Every stage in the production of our products is carefully controlled to ensure the highest possible quality.
