Only 4 plants produce chamazulene, a hydrocarbon with a lovely blue colour – and they all grow in Auvergne! But Yarrow essential oil contains many other active ingredients (23 in all, including sabinene, germacrene D, beta-caryophyllene and beta-pinene), giving it a wide range of uses and a particularly complex fragrance.
