Essential oil Vetiver (Haiti)
Originally cultivated to combat erosion, improve soil and promote reforestation, vetiver plays a key economic role in Africa: all its parts are exploited (fibers and roots). It is also used in traditional pharmacopoeia. Its fragrance, with its earthy, rooty, woody, slightly smoky and leathery notes, is extremely deep and rich. Richer in anti-oxidants and healing properties, it is used more in cosmetics (men’s care). An arterial and venous circulatory tonic and lymphatic tonic, it can also be used in slimming formulas.
