Rich mainly in omega-6 and 9, vitamin E, polyphenols and lecithin, grapeseed oil is best known for caring for combination to oily skin (regulating sebum and cleansing) and mature skin (antioxidant, nourishing and emollient). It is extremely pleasant to the touch and can be used in a wide range of formulas (body lotion, massage oil, etc.). It maintains, smoothes and nourishes fine and/or dry hair. In soap-making, it has a silky feel and a fine texture, but because it is ‘soft’, it is rarely used above 10-15%.
