Açai oil is indeed renowned for its anti-aging properties due to its richness in omega-9, stearic acid, and omega-6, as well as antioxidants like procyanidins, vanillic acid, and syringic acid, along with various phytonutrients. The unsaponifiables it contains, including flavonoids, sitosterols, beta-sitosterol, and ferulic acid, are also highly appreciated for caring for dry or colored hair. Despite its green color, it has a subtle vegetal scent.
